About
I am a research psychologist and lecturer at the University of Southampton, specialising in mental health and wellbeing research in both clinical groups and the general population. I also teach Undergraduate and Postgraduate students Clinical Psychology
I am also interested in Science and Public Engagement, with a focus on involving patients and the public in the design of psychological and healthcare research, and ensuring research is communicated clearly to non-expert audiences.
I am a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I received my BSc in Psychology from Cardiff University and a Masters by Research (MRes) in Cognitive Neuropsychology from the University of Birmingham. I received my PhD in Psychosis Studies from King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
