Reflecting on our values, needs and boundaries helps people develop skills to better handle stress, cope with difficult emotions, and foster resilience. Self-reflection is an empowering tool that can enable individuals to gain a better understanding of themselves and make informed decisions about how to take care of their psychological wellbeing.


Reflection can also involve learning about how to use psychological knowledge to improve other people’s lives. Understanding how our thoughts and behaviours impact those around us can lead to positive changes in our personal and professional lives in leadership and team working. Engaging with personal reflection we can enhancing interactions with others and create a better and more productive environment for everyone.


Reflection is a key part of personal development and implementing learning, and can be enhanced with workshops, reading materials and exercises.
